We currently have a vacancy for an Employer Engagement Specialist to join our Employer Engagement team based in Deeside.


The team is responsible for providing excellent links for Coleg Cambria learners with local employers. This includes work placements, apprenticeship opportunities and employability events. As an Employer Engagement Specialist you will be responsible for generating new leads and repeat business on a regular basis with both new and existing clients. It will also be your responsibility to maximise any opportunities presented to you and work to achieve individual, team and organisational targets. You will have an excellent knowledge of the external funding landscape.


Essential Requirements




Minimum of level 3 qualification (A Level or Equivalent) Ability to effectively plan, manage, and work to targets, including excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to travel to employers across North Wales and North West Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with strong negotiation skills. Ability to build strong relationships with staff, clients, and internal/external stakeholders. Significant experience of business development Experience of client relationship management Understanding of training and development programmes (including apprenticeships) Experience of working in a consultative sales and target driven environment Experience of creating and maintaining external networks and partnerships

Welsh language skills are desirable for this position
