Purpose

The Employer Engagement Specialist will work across multiple contracts to generate sustainable job opportunities for our participants.

You will use your sales and recruitment experience, knowledge, and skills to identify and engage local employers building lasting relationships matching the Trusts services to their needs.

Essentially you will work closely with employers and internal delivery staff, taking a holistic approach to support employers to gain employment opportunities for Shaw Trust programme participants.

Essential:

You will have:

  • Minimum of 5 GSCEs (A to C) or equivalent qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience of the recruitment or sales sector
  • Proven experience of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Experience of engaging and gaining commitment from employers, local authorities, health service providers and voluntary sector organisations
