Job Summary

The Sr. Digital Marketing & Engagement Specialist for the Biologics Testing Solutions business will play an integral role in the execution of commercial lead identification, nurturing, and engagement. This position is responsible for creating relevant interest within the biologics testing market through outbound marketing campaigns that promote and drive demand.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize lead nurturing initiatives through impactful communication channels to generate qualified leads for the Charles River Biologics Testing Solutions portfolio.
  • Engage with qualified first touch leads through effective and impactful message curation and strategic engagement and implementation of impactful automated drip campaigns (Pardot) working with strategic marketing.
  • Have continual awareness of the Biologics Testing Solutions market for opportunities in how and where Charles River can deliver value through its offerings.
  • Utilize effective data mining and lead generation platform tools to help identify targets for engagement.
  • Project lead and implement digital outreach activities supporting lead-gen campaigns, tradeshows/events, and webinars in close partnership with Strategic Marketing lead.
  • Monitor performance of engagements and conversions, evaluate effectiveness, and optimize for future projects through monitoring of dashboards and KPI metrics
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to engage and help develop account-based marketing campaigns in the various customer segments to nurture new and existing client organizations.
  • Work and maintain a cooperative relationship with the sales stakeholders to optimize the conversion to sales qualified leads when outside of scope, domain, or function.
  • Utilize Salesforce to monitor, advance opportunity status progression and review/report on completed projects
  • Ensure a competent and professional image to the customer and an accurate portrayal of business strategies both on the phone, email and at customer events.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all company product lines with more in-depth knowledge of business segment that is being supported.
  • Partner with Strategic Marketing to create and update sales enablement tools and literature supporting lead follow ups and conversions.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Licensure
  • Bachelor\'s degree (B.A /B.S.) in relevant sciences field or equivalent in marketing, business, or related discipline.
  • Life Sciences/Biotech-Pharma industry experience preferred.
  • 5+ years related experience in marketing or client engagement related services.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute.
Technical Skills
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including development of marketing content and collateral through various marketing channels)
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com and Pardot
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office especially advanced MS Excel skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and applications
Language Skills
Must have a good command of the English language and be able to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal format.

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $60 - $85K USD. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location
