Do you have what it takes to advise across the full range of employment law issues, in one of the UK's leading in house employment law teams?. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and pragmatic employment lawyer with the ability to manage a varied caseload, partner closely with stakeholders across the organisation and provide strategic employment legal advice on employment matters across our UK and EMEA locations.
Essential skills/Basic qualifications:
Solicitor or barrister qualified in the UK or equivalent commonwealth jurisdiction.
Experience of working in a leading law firm focusing on large employer clients.
Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
Technical excellence in employment law, including strong Employment Tribunal litigation experience
Desirable skills/Preferred qualifications:
Financial services experience (in house or as a client)
Experience of advising on employment related regulatory issues.
Confident in providing support to corporate transactional activity.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role can be based in either London or Manchester.
