About Us



FDM Solicitors is a dynamic and growing law firm based in Manchester City Centre. We specialise in financial mis-selling and housing disrepair claims, helping people get the support and compensation they deserve. As our Housing Disrepair Enforcement team expands, we're looking for capable and detail-oriented individuals to join us in an administrative support role.

About the Role



This role involves supporting our legal team by handling important administrative tasks, communicating with clients, and helping to keep cases moving forward. You'll be part of a busy but friendly team where your eye for detail, clear communication, and ability to stay organised will make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities



Drafting documents and letters using templates Managing emails, calls, and post--responding promptly and professionally Updating our case management system with accurate information Liaising with clients, housing providers, and other professionals Supporting the legal team with everyday administrative tasks Following up on missing documents and information Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

What We're Looking For



Essential:



Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills Confidence using Microsoft Office (especially Word and Outlook) A proactive and helpful attitude Able to prioritise tasks and manage time well Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential):



Experience in an office or administrative environment Interest in legal or housing matters Familiarity with any case management or CRM systems
