About the role

Are you passionate about problem solving and process optimisation? Would you like to work in a role that thrives on tackling complex issues? We are looking for an Engineer to join our team and play a key role in machinery, equipment & technology management.

What you'll be doing;

Maintenance tasks designated by the Engineering Manager Ensuring the efficient running & minimising the downtime of all equipment & machinery in the factory Installing, adjusting & testing new equipment & machinery Contributing to discussions about the most appropriate specification for new plant & machinery, considering such matters as availability, maintenance needs, lifespan & decommissioning. Conducting calibration, safety testing & other maintenance work on plant & machinery as required.

What we're looking for;

A good knowledge of a range of engineering principles, primarily, but not solely, mechanical engineering Working knowledge of electrical regulations Knowledge of control systems, drives and steam - raising and using Ability to work & communicate effectively with colleagues who do not have an engineering background to resolve issues & generate solutions to problems Fault finding as hydraulic/air/steam/electrical
