About the company

Part of the Interpump Fluid Solutions Group Alltube Engineering Limited was first established in 1986 in Daventry specializing in the manufacturing of tube and pipe manipulators/fabricators throughout the UK. Onsite we manufacture Hydraulic Hose assemblies, pneumatic assemblies and supply Hydraulic fittings and Hydraulic adaptors. Operating across a variety of industries to include agriculture, construction, handling, transport, (buses, trucks and rail) and general industrial. Our projects sizes vary from small one-off bespoke requests through to supplying major International equipment manufacturers.

College Training

Engineering Operative 1 day a week at college. L2 Functional skills upskill if required.

Training Details

1 day per week at Booth Lane campus for up to 24 months

Main Tasks

As an engineering operative, you will follow engineering plans and job instructions. and operate computer-controlled machinery. make parts, using tools like lathes, cutters and grinders. apply coatings and finishes to manufactured products. Working with mild and stainless steel tube mixed variety of work o Work as part of a team to produce orders on time. o Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output. o Prepare / process materials prior to assembly. o Check products for compliance with specifications and quality requirements. o Comply with established quality control procedures and documentation standards. o Reinstate the work area following engineering activities.

07.00-17.00 MON to THURS

Qualifications

A minimum of Grade 3/D or above/equivalent in Maths and English

Future Prospects

Potential for a full time position once the apprenticeship is complete and progression within the company to level 3 Engineering

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: 7.55 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
