Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for an Engineering Area Manager to join our Engineering team!
In this role you will be managing one of three Engineering teams, to ensure the rides remain safe and operational at all times, stores and inventory are up to date, and that vehicles are safe and fit for purpose. This includes planning all elements of ride management, including ensuring winter maintenance plans are deliverable.
You will be responsible for managing the Engineering Team Leaders and Engineers to improve ride availability, as well as managing the through-life management plan for all designated engineering assets.
As an Engineering Area Manager, you'll ensure that all rides and attractions are maintained in accordance with 'the system for safety of attractions', as specified in guidance document HSG175 (2017), and that they are handed back to the operation on agreed dates. Qualifications & Experience:

• Engineering Management experience; a great people manager with strong leadership skills.
• HND/HNC qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong asset management skills.
• Strong communication and delegation skills.
• Have a great attitude, work ethic and passion to succeed, desire to change in an ever-progressive evolving industry.
• Full understanding of engineering-related statutory requirements such as COSHH.

Pay Range: GBP 57,783.00/Hr.
