About Shoreham Port
Shoreham Port operates 24/7 365 days of the year within a fascinating and complex engineering environment. The purpose of the Engineering Team is to keep Shoreham Port operational, which includes maintaining our critical infrastructure. No two days are the same; one day you could be maintaining one of our Lock and Pump House and the next day you could be involved in exciting development and improvement projects.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Assist the Engineering Team with all aspects of planned & reactive maintenance whilst following the Port's Health & Safety policies
Duties may include:
Mechanical; welding, maintenance associated with hydraulic equipment and lock gates, pumps & sluices.
Assisting in Dry Docking Vessels
Working as part of the diving team
Carrying out maintenance on port vessels
Act as an Ambassador for the Engineering Team when working across our Port estate
