BSC specializes in the global design and manufacture of custom RF and Microwave Solutions. Utilising core and advanced filter technologies as well as their integration in higher level sub-assemblies for the latest rf and microwave products to connect and protect people in defence, aerospace, communications and space.
OPPORTUNITY
We are now recruiting an ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER to join our highly knowledgeable Engineering team, in a role that will literally take you out of this world! Your contributions will protect and connect people around the globe and into space for our defence, aerospace and telecommunication customers.
Working collaboratively with our other Engineering Project Manager, you'll jointly lead BSC's Engineering team with your own assigned reports. Together you'll set and maintain engineering and quality systems, standards and processes
and lead and work with assigned Engineers to successfully deliver all aspects of our Engineering projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. You're therefore planning, managing work-packages and creating and owning program
plans.
You're also a key contact for and communicator with internal and external customers and stakeholders, confident to chair technical reviews and provide associated data and reporting. And a member of and contributor to the Site
Leadership team being not only a voice for Engineering, but for the whole BSC team.
To be successful, you'll have or be working towards the following:

• An HND in an Engineering Discipline and a relevant project management qualification.

• Knowledge And Experience in the following areas:

• Multi-discipline experience in an engineering role.
• Implementation and management of multiple, concurrent projects, throughout a project lifecycle.
• Managing assigned reports to achieve required performance goals.
• Working to and delivering against quality and customer standards.
• Developing and maintain customer relationships, managing expectations and resolving issues.

You're also logical, result focused, with a high attention to detail, an enquiring mind and a want to continually improve both our products and yourself. You must also be a UK or NATO citizen with the right to work in the UK.
