We're looking for a practical, reliable, and enthusiastic

Engineer's Mate

to support our

Senior Commercial Catering Engineer

on a variety of installation and service projects in commercial kitchens.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a hands-on background who enjoys working as part of a team and is keen to learn more about the catering and ventilation trade.

Full or part time roles available.

What You'll Be Doing

Assisting with the

installation, servicing, and repair

of commercial catering equipment Supporting the installation of

commercial kitchen ventilation systems

, including ductwork, fans, canopies, and silencers Helping with the installation of

stainless steel and hygienic wall cladding

Loading and unloading tools and materials, and keeping the work area tidy Maintaining tools and equipment, and helping to keep the van organised Working closely with the senior engineer to ensure jobs are completed safely and efficiently

What We're Looking For

Some experience in a

manual or trade-based role

(e.g. plumbing, electrical, construction, HVAC) A

willingness to learn

and take direction from experienced engineers Awareness of

Health & Safety practices

on site A

CSCS card

is advantageous

NVQ Level 2

(or working towards) in a relevant trade is beneficial Comfortable with

working at height

(e.g. on steps or scaffolding)

Physically fit

and capable of manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment and materials A good work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude A

clean driving licence

is preferred but not essential Ability to work well as part of a team and follow health & safety procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week
