Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English GCSE Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating children and the ability to communicate effectively with students of varying abilities. This role is particularly suited for individuals with experience in special education or tutoring, who are eager to make a positive impact on students' learning journeys.

Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning. Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student confidence and motivation. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement. Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support students with diverse learning requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting. Background in special education is highly desirable. Strong tutoring skills across various subjects, with the ability to explain concepts clearly. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and families. A genuine passion for educating and empowering students to reach their full potential.
