We are growing our team at High Impact Academic Coaching (HIAC), delivering 1-to-1 and small-group online tuition for students with SEND, emotional, social or behavioural needs. The Role

As an Online Tutor you will:

Deliver engaging, differentiated Maths and English tuition (GCSE & Functional Skills) for students with SEND / additional needs. Adapt teaching to individual learning styles, pacing, and needs -- using multi-sensory, scaffolded, and student-centred approaches. Support not just academic learning but also confidence, emotional resilience and motivation. Provide clear session feedback and track student progress.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has strong subject knowledge in Maths and English (GCSE / Functional Skills level). Has prior experience working with SEND / neurodivergent / additional-needs students (or expresses a genuine willingness to learn). Is calm, patient, empathetic -- able to build trust, connection and a supportive learning environment. Ideally holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) -- but experienced tutors without QTS are welcome if you demonstrate enthusiasm and relevant skills. Is reliable, professional, and able to commit to a regular online tutoring schedule.
