JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking to employ 1.5 Enrolment Support Administrators from July to October 2023, to join the Student Records Team and provide support to the University during enrolment. You will be part of the Academic Registry directorate, reporting to the Senior Registry Officer.

You will provide a pro-active, back office support service to Staff for all enrolment processing. This will include data entry including enrolment, progression and other key activities and functions. You will work with the Records team to ensure that data entered on to the Records system is accurate and undertake data integrity checks under the supervision of the Records Team.

Job Title: Registry Administrator (Enrolment Support Administrator) \xe2\x80\x93 Student Records

Responsible to: Senior Registry Officer \xe2\x80\x93 Records & Reporting

Job Purpose:

The post holder is responsible for providing support in processing enrolment forms & undertaking a range of administrative duties for the University\xe2\x80\x99s Student Records & Data Team. To ensure that student records are accurately processed and kept up to date, supporting the other members of the Records team and wider Academic Registry.

The post holder will be required to be proactive and flexible in delivering support to students, university staff, other stakeholders and be able to operate under pressure.

The purpose of the job description is to indicate the general level of responsibility: the duties may vary from time to time without changing the general character or level of responsibility.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the role:
  • To accurately input student enrolment data into the University Student Record System for the range of students that the University recruits.
  • To maintain the accuracy and integrity of data held on the Student Record System including regular checking of data in liaison with others in Student Records Team and other departments in the University.
  • To support student-related administrative and data entry processes including enrolment, progression, withdrawal and other key activities and functions.
  • There may be a requirement for these duties to be carried out across different sites within the University.
  • Comply with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR; Health and Safety; and Equality and Diversity requirements and legislation in all working practices.
  • Such other duties temporarily or on a continuing basis, as may reasonably be required.
