Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Tutor to provide personalised educational support to students between Years 7 to 11. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering academic growth, confidence, and a love of learning. Duties

Deliver customised tutoring sessions aligned with the national curriculum and major exam boards like AQA, Edexcel and OCR, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs Assess students' strengths and areas for improvement to develop effective learning plans Support students with homework, exam preparation, and skill development strategies Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and motivation Track and document student progress regularly, providing feedback to parents or guardians as appropriate Utilise various educational resources and tools to enhance the learning experience Maintain punctuality and professionalism during all scheduled tutoring sessions

Qualifications

Minimum grade 7 for GCSE English Tutoring experience is valued but not required Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently Strong organisational skills to plan lessons effectively and track student progress Passion for the English subject and helping students achieve their full potential

Pay: 10.00-20.00 per hour
