We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Reconciliation Specialist to join our finance team. This role is crucial for ensuring the financial integrity of our operations by accurately reconciling bank accounts and contributing to our month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous improvement and collaboration. This role could be suitable for someone looking to get into a finance team - or perhaps return to finance after some time out

What You'll DoOversee and perform accurate bank reconciliations for all US, UK, and Investment Clearing House accounts, adhering to GAAP, Public Accounting Audits, and Federal Regulatory standards. Drive the month-end close process by ensuring all reconciliations are properly documented and finalized within established timelines. Manage EMEA & APAC entity bank reconciliations, collaborating closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and banking contacts across various regions. Identify and propose innovative solutions to enhance control procedures and improve the efficiency of account reconciliation processes. Support the team with monthly financial reviews of Clearing House management reports, including journal postings and P&L analysis. Respond to internal and external audit requests, ensuring timely and thorough completion.

What You'll BringProficiency in the full Microsoft Suite of Applications, with a strong aptitude for Excel and manipulating large datasets. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively. A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently or collaboratively to achieve goals. Previous experience with financial accounting systems is a plus. A strong communicator who can articulate issues clearly and concisely to management and cross-functional teams.
