Job Summary


The ECMS Analyst is responsible for coordinating the product-related Environmental Compliance Management Systems (ECMS) at Client Site. This includes implementing and managing ECMS clearing processes, supporting cross-functional collaboration, maintaining dashboards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment with Group Company standards. The role reports to both a Line Manager and Matrix Manager, working at the intersection of compliance, engineering, and product development.

Key Responsibilities



Coordination & Implementation

Lead the implementation and operation of the ECMS clearing process across Company. Manage and maintain the ECMS clearing list and drive resolution of identified issues. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to track compliance progress and escalate risks. Develop supporting processes aligned with broader compliance structures.

Reporting & Analysis

Create and maintain ECMS dashboards and management summaries. Report ECMS status to internal stakeholders and Group companies. Conduct risk assessments and escalate non-conformities.

Consultation & Training

Act as a subject matter expert on ECMS topics across the business. Develop and deliver internal ECMS training programs. Ensure process adaptation to reflect policy or regulatory updates.

Group Collaboration

Represent company in Group ECMS forums and meetings. Provide feedback and raise company-specific issues to Group. Ensure group-driven ECMS changes are implemented within company.

Skills & Experience Required



Strong environmental and compliance background; understanding of legislation and conformity. Experience in project management, issue tracking, and cross-functional coordination. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems, including auditing and process improvement. Competency in continuous improvement tools and problem-solving methodologies. Proficiency in reporting systems, dashboards, and data analysis. Automotive industry knowledge preferred.

Technical & Practical Knowledge



Knowledge of automotive product lifecycle and certification management. Ability to interpret and apply environmental regulations. Tools: IT literate; project planning and issue tracking tools; dashboard/reporting tools. German language skills advantageous but not essential. Auditor qualification preferred (ideally Lead Auditor level).
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 27.00-32.90 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Crewe CW1 3PL
