Environmental Health Officer

(Maternity Cover up to a maximum period of 12 months)

Work Base: Buxton and Leek 18.5 Hours Per Week

\xc2\xa336,298 to \xc2\xa340,478 per annum pro-rata

(plus essential car user)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join the strategic alliance to deliver first class services to its customers.

As a qualified Environmental Health Officer, you will carry out statutory duties including inspecting, investigating, and taking enforcement action where necessary. You will work as part of a team, have good verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to work independently and as a remote worker. Access to a vehicle is essential along with the ability to work some evenings and weekends.

Inspecting officers must hold the baseline qualification and have appropriate registration issued by the Environmental Health Registration Board.

To apply for this role you will need to be an accomplished, fully registered EHO with recent enforcement experience in relation to food safety work and be able to demonstrate your capabilities in meeting the competencies relating to Inspection of Food Establishments and have Food Core CPD as specified in the current version of the Food Law Code of Practice and Practice Guidance.
