The impact you will have



Working as the ERP Applications Support Specialist, you will forge strong links with key stakeholders in the business in order to provide support, drive business requirements and operational improvements for modules in core ERP systems, primarily M3 relating to Finance, but also Sage X3 in addition to supporting users with the procurement system COUPA, and other integrated Finance ERP applications and processes.


Serve as the primary Finance support SME for the M3 and Sage X3 ERP and Coupa systems, supporting internal stakeholders across all business units. Provide expert-level guidance on financial processes, system functionality, and best practices. Own the resolution of finance-related system issues, ensuring timely and effective support.




System Administration & Configuration:
Working with the PMO; support the configuration, maintenance, future deployment and continuous improvement of the M3 and Sage X3 Finance module and Coupa platform. Ensure system setup aligns with internal controls, compliance requirements, and business objectives are upheld. Maintain and enforce data integrity, security, and governance standards across all finance systems.




Process Improvement & Optimization:
Research and implement industry best practices to enhance system usage and financial reporting accuracy, with focus on automation and process streamlining. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation and/or other improvement initiatives.




Change Management:
Assist in the evaluation of Evaluate change requests, ensuring alignment with business goals and cost-effectiveness. Provide gatekeeper oversight for finance-related system fixes, ensuring proper documentation and testing.




Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
Manage relationships with third-party vendors including Infor (M3), Coupa, and other related software providers, ensuring SLAs and standards are met and vendor deliverables aligning with quality standards and the CSV process.




Compliance & Audit Support:
Ensure systems and processes comply with internal audit standards and external regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, FDA, Ernst Young). Support audit activities by providing system documentation, access logs, and process evidence as required.



The skills you will need

SQL skills will be a distinct advantage Proficient in M3 Innovative Thinker - embraces and champions new ideas and encourages others to do likewise The job holder should have worked in a similar position or a senior finance position for at least 3-5 years Good working knowledge of M3 application, particularly Finance, Supply Chain and Order Fulfilment Similar or working knowledge of Sage X3 would be a benefit, but is not essential Ability to manage multiple objectives/projects. Clear understanding and experience of manager change control and approving the quality and compliance of implemented releases according to defined standards. Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with senior stakeholders within a global community, whilst maintaining clear procedures. Ability to work under pressure, to tight timescales and to adapt to an ever changing work environment. Be able to create SQL queries to edit, delete or create records. Strong problem solving, analytical, communication and IT skills with an understanding of the principles of ERP integration (Preferred: INFOR M3 ERP application + middleware M3 Enterprise Collaborator, streamserve)
