Escort Driver
Job Description
Due to our ever increasing transport commitments Coast to Coast Caravans have a vacancy available for an escort driver.
We wish to employ an individual with confidence in their driving and good local knowledge of the local area.
They will be present in a high visibility vehicle to warn of an imminent abnormal load.
The escort driver will be responsible in maintaining our abnormal load driver has safe passage throughout his journey whilst ensuring road safety to himself, other road users and pedestrians.
The escort driver will need excellent communication skills and be able to follow instructions and maintain contact with the HGV Driver via CB Radio.
The successful applicant will also be required to support in loading/offloading our units alongside our HGV Driver.
Physical work is involved on a daily basis
Full time hours Monday-Friday. No Weekends/No Bank holidays
Some hours are irregular depending on the transport locations/requirements.
Full UK driving licence required
Experience very desirable but not essential
12.00 ph
