Escort Driver

Following a strong period of expansion, Allelys are looking to welcome a Heavy Haulage Escort Driver to our growing team. We are seeking a proactive individual with a practical, hands-on mindset.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to be involved in the support, guidance, and escorting of some of the UK's heaviest and most complex loads.

Allelys are a leading name in the field of Abnormal Load Transport and Heavy Lifting in the UK, trusted to move everything from military vehicles to massive infrastructure components.

As an Escort Driver you will be responsible for:

Accompanying abnormal loads across the UK road network. Supporting load handling activities such as securing cargo, assembling ramps, and loading/unloading. Aiding in the navigation and direction of specialised trailer equipment. Maintaining consistent communication with the driver to ensure safety protocols are followed. Working primarily Monday to Friday with frequent overnight stays and weekend shifts. Carrying out physical duties as required by the role.

You will have the following experience:

A full UK car licence. Previous experience driving vans - preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge or background in machinery/plant - preferred. Good level of physical fitness and a positive, can-do attitude.

Salary and Benefits:

Starting salary from 36,000 Daily pay rate with performance bonuses based on escort duties Dedicated vehicle equipped with sleeping area and night heaters Weekly pay

Pay: 36,000.00-40,000.00 per year
