• Develop and execute the strategy for ESG transaction advisory services, ensuring alignment with overall NZFSC goals
• Lead the delivery of ESG transaction advisory services including taxonomy screening, carbon due diligence, ESG ratings, etc.
• Build deep expertise in ESG factors in transactions including decarbonization, sustainability metrics, regulations, and market trends
• Identify opportunities to collaborate with and support the SA Resilience team on transactions, acting as a bridge
• Provide ESG input and project support to SA Resilience for due diligence, deal screening, etc.
• Drive cross-selling of SA Resilience transaction services into ESG transaction advisory client accounts
• Manage and develop the ESG transaction advisory team, attracting top talent
• Contribute market insights to help SA Resilience shape transaction offerings
• Track ESG transaction advisory revenue and profitability, setting targets and projections

Role accountabilities:

• Growth in ESG transaction advisory revenue and profitability
• Increased collaboration and shared pipeline between teams
• Development of ESG transaction advisory team capabilities
• Contributions to shaping SA Resilience transaction offerings
• Achievement of ESG transaction advisory targets for low carbon certified projects, emissions reductions, etc

Qualifications & Experience:

• Publishing thought leadership on places decarbonisation and sustainable design
• Speaking at industry conferences to build Arcadis brand awareness
• Advising Arcadis leadership on places decarbonisation trends and opportunities
• Building relationships with strategic partners in the places ecosystem
• Tracking competitor activity in the net zero places market
