, we're looking for skilled ESOL tutors to join our warm and welcoming team, delivering classes in community venues across Nottingham.
Belong is a refugee-led organisation with over 25 years' experience supporting refugees, people seeking asylum, and migrants from a broad range of backgrounds. At the heart of our work is the belief that everyone deserves to feel they belong - and our ESOL classes are a vital part of that. We create spaces where adult learners are respected, encouraged, and supported to thrive.
About the Role
We have a range of temporary, part-time and sessional roles available. Teaching takes place in person, across various community venues in Nottingham - so being willing and able to travel between locations is essential.
What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
A
Level 5 teaching qualification
(CELTA or CertTESOL as a minimum)
Recent experience
teaching ESOL to adults - paid or voluntary
A learner-centred, respectful approach to teaching
A real interest in working in diverse community settings
A
DBS check
(or willingness to get one)
It's a bonus if you've worked with community or voluntary organisations - but it's your values, approach, and teaching experience we're most interested in.
