Due to recent business expansion, we have a vacancy within our amazing central bakery team. Working behind the scenes to supply our homemade food to our 5 busy coffee shops/ delis located across Halton & Knowsley. Along with creating delicious food for the corporate catering side of our business too - as a bakery leader, you will be an integral part of the team, working together to run the heart of the business.

This role is part of our new three?person Shared Leadership Team. Instead of one manager carrying the pressure, or supervisors feeling undervalued, this structure allows shared accountability, shared development and shared success. Each Leader will be trained across every operational and leadership area, ensuring consistency, confidence and excellence.

You will work at our head office in our central food production facility, this is a professional yet friendly bakery culture, making sandwiches, cakes, soups, gelato, pastries, all handmade by us.

If you are someone with a passion for food and with some experience of baking and making, this could be the position for you. What's just as important as experience, is a willingness to learn, adapting quickly and sometimes working to deadlines.

Our bakery team work across 7 days a week, the successful candidate must be flexible to work these days on a rota basis. As well as being a committed, reliable and flexible person you will become a key team member in helping to keep the one of the most important aspects of the business running smoothly.

Full training on our brand standards is provided.

Key Leadership Responsibilities

Lead operational shifts with confidence and positivity Inspire and support the team through leading by example Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food production techniques. An exceptional standard of presentation and food quality must be maintained to reflect our brand Maintain a warm, friendly environment with high service standards Ensure food safety, hygiene and allergen compliance at all times Stock management, ordering and minimising waste Support training of team members using step?by?step development Handle customer feedback with a solutions?focused attitude Maintain exceptional bakery cleanliness and presentation standards Open and close the premises responsibly, including key?holding duties Uphold and protect company values, standards and culture Collaborate with the team to achieve monthly performance targets. Assist with training of new team members to ensure a smooth integration into the business.

Role Requirements Summary:

30+ hours per week

Flexible to work different days/ overtime/ holiday cover.

Kitchen/ Food preparation experience (minimum 6 months).

Must enjoy working in a friendly team environment.

Typical working hours will be 9am - 5pm Mon - Sun (shift times may vary)

Full training will be given
