Key Requirements:



Level 3 Essential Skills Wales Practitioner qualification PGCE or PCET teaching qualification Experience delivering Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Literacy from Entry Level 1 to Level 2 IQA qualification and experience are desirable

Role Overview


We are seeking a passionate and experienced Essential Skills Tutor to deliver engaging and impactful training sessions in Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Literacy to young learners enrolled in the Jobs Growth Wales+ programme. This role involves developing and delivering sessions that address individual learning barriers and support learners in achieving Agored Cymru Essential Skills Wales qualifications at Entry Level through to Level 2.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver high-quality, innovative group sessions across our three sites (Swansea, Llanelli, Ammanford) to support learner achievement. Plan and facilitate engaging activities to enhance employability skills and qualification success. Conduct initial assessments, reviews, and progress monitoring to tailor training to individual learner needs. Support learners from Entry Level 1 to Level 2 to complete qualifications in line with awarding body requirements. Meet agreed targets for delivery, assessment, marking, and qualification submission. Collaborate with internal teams to report learner progress and ensure timely achievement. Complete all required administrative duties, including qualification registrations, progress tracking, and certificate claims. Adhere to INSPIRE Training's policies, procedures, and quality standards. Undertake any additional duties as required by the Line Manager.

To develop yourself by attending courses, meetings, training events, workshops and seminars, in order to not only develop yourself but also the company. To demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills including report writing skills. To be highly self-motivated and organised. To ensure effective learner care skills. A recognition and regard for observing confidentiality. The capacity to work as part of a team. An ability to work on own initiative and meet set timescales. General housekeeping duties. To display INSPIRE Training's values and ethos at all times.
