On the other side, as Hoey Parks, we own a series of caravan holiday parks scattered across England. Each site is home to a variety of luxury lodges and static caravans. With our holiday license, the parks operate year-round and allow the flexibility and potential for income generation through subletting.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Morecambe as an Estate & Office Administrator. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the head office park, grounds staff and general administration. You will be expected to assist the Operations Manager with invoicing, banking and keeping up with the various tasks required to keep our businesses running smoothly.
A problem-solving attitude is essential and flexibility and adaptability are also required to keep up with our varied workplace. No day will ever look the same in this role, so if you are looking for something with variety, this is certainly the position for you.
Typical Tasks may Include:
Managing the day to day running of head office with responsibility for grounds and maintenance staff
Ordering maintenance supplies and keeping record of maintenance jobs and works required
Keeping the parks up to date with their paperwork and annual safety checks
Communication between various contractors and vendors to keep the sites maintained
Developing systems to help improve the efficiency of the business
Plus many other administrative and accounting duties
Daily banking
Social media active, willing to share promotional posts
Managing utility accounts, insurance and council tax
Calculating annual leave and organising holiday requests
Other day to day tasks that may arise
The candidate will be working as part of a small in-house team including the
Operational Manager
and the
Sales and Marketing Manager
, which means they will be taking responsibility for their own work and communication with site staff and suppliers. We are looking for someone who is fast at keeping up with tasks, accurate with their work, excellent at multitasking and reliable.
Experience in accounts is essential
, as there will be a lot of this type of work as part of your role.
