Sales Support & Estimating Administrator - Service & Maintenance
A varied role whose primary responsibility is to support the sales and service teams, with a strong focus on estimating and preparing quotations for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of movable wall systems, alongside general administrative duties.
The successful applicant will be keen to gain new experience, take on responsibility, and demonstrate accountability within a growing and specialist business.
They will be reliable, organised, and determined, with a professional and pleasant manner. The role requires the ability to work independently using their own initiative, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Director of Sales and Service team
Preparing estimates and detailed quotations for servicing, maintenance, inspections, and remedial works on movable wall systems
Reviewing service reports and translating findings into clear, accurate client quotations
Managing, organising, and updating customer and project databases
General office and sales administration duties
Preparing invoices and purchase orders using cloud-based accounting software
Coordinating service visits, engineer schedules, and follow-up communications
Maintaining accurate records of service contracts, inspections, and quotations
Inputting regular updates for company social media and internal systems
Arranging and participating in meetings, conferences, and project-related activities
Skills & Requirements
Strong attention to detail, particularly with pricing, estimates, and documentation
Confident computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email, and internet-based systems
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
A methodical and organised approach to work
Experience & Training
Previous estimating or service administration experience is beneficial but not essential
Full training will be provided, including product knowledge and service procedures
Career Progression
This role is intended as a development position. The successful candidate will be working towards an internal sales role, with the opportunity to progress into a sales position (internal or external). Progression will be dependent on business requirements, individual performance, and suitability, and will be reviewed over time based on the company's future sales needs.
Must be able to drive as there is no public transport near the office.
