D P Interiors Ltd is an established interiors contractor specialising in drylining and joinery packages across commercial interior projects. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Estimator to join our team and support the pricing and delivery of upcoming works.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for drylining and joinery packages from tender stage through to project handover. Estimates are produced using Causeway estimating software, with full training provided where required. You will work closely with management, site teams, and the supply chain to ensure commercially sound submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing detailed estimates for drylining, partitions, ceilings, and joinery works
Carrying out take-offs and producing bills of quantities using Causeway (training provided)
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
Sourcing and assessing supplier and subcontractor quotations
Pricing labour, materials, plant, preliminaries, and overheads
Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
Assisting with tender queries, clarifications, and post-tender negotiations
Supporting effective handover to commercial and project delivery teams
About You
Experience estimating drylining and/or joinery packages (preferred)
Willingness to learn and use Causeway estimating software
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings
High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
Able to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines
Confident communicator with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
