Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and budgeting phases of projects, ensuring that all costs are accurately calculated and controlled. This position requires strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Duties



Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on specifications and drawings. Analyse project requirements to determine the most cost-effective methods of execution. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information for accurate estimates. Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints. Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for estimating purposes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance estimating accuracy. Prepare reports and presentations summarising estimates for management review.

Skills



Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices. Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail. Proficient in using estimating software and tools. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with construction processes, materials, and regulations is advantageous. Experience



Work within the Construction Business Experience with previous Data Cable Infrastructure Projects Delivering projects within the Data Centre industry An understanding of active hardware such as switches, video conferencing, CCTV and Access Control would

Pay: 24,000.00-45,000.00 per year
