About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Estimator/project manager

to join our team. You'll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a wide variety of

roofing and cladding

systems--from specialist standing seam systems to industrial cladding. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Options for either solely estimating duties or dual role, incorporating project management duties (depending on abilities).

Responsibilities

Price materials and labour for domestic and commercial roofing/cladding jobs Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for accurate pricing Attend site visits to assess project scope (when required) Submit professional tender documents and cost breakdowns Support project managers and assist with design alternatives or value engineering Set up and oversee the delivery of secured projects

Requirements

Experience in roofing/cladding estimating Knowledge of metal roofing systems (e.g. Single/Twin skinned, Composite cladding (Kingspan KS1000RW, Tata Trisomet and the like), Standing seam (Catnic Urban, Euroclad Veio and the lke). Knowledge of pitched slating and tiling systems, and flat roofing systems (Single Ply (Armourplan), Bituminous Systems (Garland) and Liquid systems would be a bonus. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates Proficiency in Excel; experience with estimating software Full UK driving licence
