Job Description

Established in 2003, Deckbuilders UK Ltd are a landscaping design and build company, installing projects such as; decking, balconies, bridges, walkways and timber buildings. We work with many commercial clients including Prater, Stepnell, Taylor Wimpey as well schools and local councils. Our projects range from 25k up to 500,000. This is a diverse role requiring experience from within the construction industry and involves managing the commercial relationship with various key clients.

Role and responsibilities

Preparing price quotations for project builds Preparation of rough drawings with accurate detail for transfer to CAD Carrying out site meetings with clients including site surveys, happy to commute across the UK Ongoing management of relationships with client QS, project managers and private clients Following up on estimates, providing a weekly report to the MD
The role is working alongside the Contracts Manager and reports directly to the Managing Director. Skill requirements include excellent communication and numerical skills, strong attention to detail with an ability to build long sustainable client relationships. We are looking for individual who has at least 2-3 years experience within estimating and potentially someone will a good knowledge of CAD and with a good understanding of the construction industry.

There is flexibility within this role to be home based but within easy commute to Pershore, Worcs., we would also consider free lancers as well as on a full time employment basis.
