As well as Electrical Vehicle charging Metric Services undertake a variety of work, including Electrical installations, compliance works, Air Source Heat pumps, HVAC for commercial and industrial clients such as Water Authorities, Recycling Industry, Manufacturing & Processing Plants, Schools, Hospitals and Universities.

EV Role

Currently Due to our continued expansion Metric Services offer an end-to-end solution for EV charging from installation and maintenance (SLA's) including back office and monitoring.

Working for a Project Manager the candidate will be required to carry out:

EV charger Installation EV Charger maintenance (SLA's) Related Electrical Installation Work.
We require full time Electricians capable of working in a variety of environments.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday. Overtime available and may be required. Working away / nights / weekends may also be required.
Qualification & Experience:

Electrician: minimum 4 years (required) Level 3 Award in Requirement for Electrical Installations BS 7671 (Required) ECS Gold card (desirable) Level 3 Award in the Installation and Commissioning of Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment in Domestic, Commercial and Industrial locations, or equivalent. (Desirable) Self-Supervisory on own projects (desirable) Full Driving Licence (required)
Person spec - be able to:

Work alone and or, with an apprentice on small projects Be a team player on larger projects. Capable of testing large electrical installations.
