Evening Shift Supervisor
Job Description
Organised and responsible manager required for the evening shift (11:00- finish which is generally between 20:00 - 21:00) at Delivered's busy depot in Woodley, Reading. Your role will be to oversee the smooth running of the evening operation so you'll need to be comfortable working on your own initiative within network regulations. Reporting directly to the Depot Manager, you'll be responsible for all aspects of the operation including organising collections, entering bookings on our in-house system, labelling and scanning pallets onto our trunk vehicles, loading and unloading vehicles, warehouse/storage management and maintaining an efficient flow of vehicles through the yard. You will need a good telephone manner and must enjoy dealing with people as you will be liaising directly with our customers, as well as working with our drivers and other depots.
Managerial experience in a busy logistics environment is essential for this role. As a permanent full time position you will receive 31 days paid holiday including bank holidays.
