About the Role
We're recruiting for a Marketing Manager position with a leading events and media organisation. This part-time role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a well-established portfolio within the design and construction space, spanning a major UK trade event, an industry-leading website, and a digital newsletter.
This is a unique and varied marketing position, combining event marketing, digital content management, and audience engagement. You'll lead strategy and campaign delivery across multiple platforms, helping grow event attendance, digital reach, and brand visibility throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across events, digital, and media channels.
  • Plan and manage multi-channel campaigns to drive visitor, exhibitor, and subscriber engagement.
  • Oversee digital content, website updates, and newsletter performance to grow audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with editorial, sales, and operations teams to align marketing activity with business objectives.
  • Manage event branding, PR, social media, and partnerships.
  • Build relationships with media partners, associations, and sponsors to expand brand presence.
  • Track and report on marketing KPIs and campaign ROI.
  • Manage budgets, external suppliers, and creative agencies as needed.
About You
We're looking for a strategic yet hands-on marketer who enjoys variety and thrives in a creative environment. You'll bring:
  • 4+ years' experience in B2B marketing, ideally within events, publishing, or trade media.
  • Proven ability to deliver integrated campaigns across digital, print, and live event channels.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing, SEO, and email engagement.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience using CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Mailchimp).
  • Confidence in using analytics to measure success and inform strategy.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and creative mindset.
