Job Summary


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences. As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating various events, ensuring that every detail is executed flawlessly . Your role will involve working closely with the General Manager to understand their vision and requirements, allowing you to deliver events that exceed expectations. 3 years experience desirable.

We are open Easter until Bonfire Night to the public, where you will work 5 days over 7, or as business requires.

During the closed season, you will work mainly Monday to Friday planning for the following season.

40 Hours to be worked on average

Permanent position dependant on successful completion of a six-month probationary period.

Responsibilities



Develop, plan and deliver the annual seasonal programme of events for Cammas Hall Farm, including our flagship event at Halloween. Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including location on the farm, entertainment, and logistics. Be the main point of contact for each event for contractors, performers, suppliers and event staff. Develop and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders. Manage timelines and ensure all tasks are completed on schedule. Collaborate closely with General Manager to ensure all events run smoothly and all business requirements are met. Assume responsibility for all health and safety considerations associated with staging events and ensure full risk assessments are completed and implemented where necessary. Prepare and manage the costings for each event to deliver against the budgets and targets outlined. Submit post event reports to General Manager for information and analysis. Identify area of growth for the business outside of the existing events. keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in event management.

Experience

and Person Specification

Proven experience in event planning or a related field within hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments is highly desirable. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to liaise confidently with clients and vendors. A confident decision-maker who takes accountability foe their actions and enjoys problem solving under pressure. Flexibility in approach with the ability to adjust quickly to changes. Good IT skills to include use of the Microsoft suite, and database experience. Understanding the role of social media and it's benefits for business in order to identify opportunities for event promotion. The ability to be a strong team player. Own transport essential.
