We are looking for a

SIA-badged Event Security Supervisor

to join our team. Sword is a Recognised Service Provider proudly working with the

hourly rate for an Event Security Supervisor is 15.19

, including Holiday Pay.

Responsibilities

Work alongside our operations team to deliver

excellent customer service

.

Coordinate

with event organisers and venue management.

Lead and manage

the on-site team to ensure company standards are followed. Comply with the

instructions of

your manager.

Conduct briefings with security and stewarding staff

to communicate roles, responsibilities, expectations and emergency procedures. Ensure compliance with company and client

policies and procedures

.

Requirements

You must hold a

valid SIA license - Door Supervisor Licence

Minimum of

3 years experience as a Security Officer

in the UK security industry. A minimum of

2 years experience in a supervisory role

, preferably within the events industry. Checkable

5-year work/study history

.

Ability to use software and mobile applications

for incident reporting and documentation review and debrief reports. Must be willing to work as

part of a team

. A

positive and energetic approach

to your job. Excellent

communication skills, approachable and a smile

. Ability to be

on your feet

for an extended period.

A valid driver's licence and access to a car

are desired but not essential.

Able to travel

to various locations in South Wales including Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and surrounding areas including central, north and west Wales as required.

IMPORTANT

: due to the nature of the events industry, the contract we are offering is a

flexible

contract

. We

cannot guarantee

you will work the same number of hours every month as some months are busier than others. Please bear this in mind before applying.
