We're on the lookout for enthusiastic, reliable, and festive individuals to join our team as Christmas Elves at our magical Christmas event!
As one of Santa's trusted helpers, you'll be in costume and in character throughout your shift, bringing joy to children and families through fun, friendly interactions - but there's more to this role than just spreading cheer!
Duties:
- Add sparkle to the whole event with your charisma and charm by delivering a festive welcome for all the visitors.
- Whilst in character as an Elf, you will be responsible for constantly engaging with visitors, even when just walking across site. Therefore, it is expected that you would have outstanding communication, excellent customer service and engagement skills to ensure that all visitors have the best day out! Of course, a love of Christmas and Santa is essential!
- Keeping the event space clean, tidy and above all safe.
- Liaising with the head elf and event manager to keep the magic coming.
- Selling and upselling grotto items in Santa's Toyshop and photo booths.
About you:
You'll need to bring plenty of festive cheer, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay in character throughout the day. This role is perfect for those who love working with people, especially children, and aren't afraid to get stuck into both performance and practical tasks. You'll be:
A friendly, confident communicator who enjoys working with children
Reliable team player who can stay positive and professional during busy periods
Comfortable working in costume, and staying in character for extended periods of time
Confident completing basic operational tasks such as tidying, restocking, or assisting with activity areas
Experience in performing, customer service, or working with children is a bonus -- but not essential.
Feel comfortable selling and upselling photo packages, gifts and more!
Dates:
This role will require you to work weekdays and weekends on the following dates. Ideally, you would have full availability to make the most of the role but it's not essential.
