Urgently Hiring: Event / Venue Supervisor (Full-Time) - Immediate Start

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced

Event / Venue Supervisor

to oversee and support the daily operations of our venue and events. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on attitude, strong hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. This role requires close coordination with staff and clients to ensure events run smoothly from start to finish.

Job Overview

As the

Event / Venue Supervisor

, you will be responsible for supervising all aspects of venue operations. You will support event setup, breakdown, staffing, troubleshooting, and client interaction. This is a key operational role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, service-led environment and can take initiative while working closely with management.

Responsibilities

Supervise

venue setup and pack-down

Handle

stock taking

and ordering (perishables and bar stock) Weekly

beer line cleaning

Manage

takeaway orders

(collection and coordination) Execute

staff scheduling

(based on management's plan) Coordinate

team/staff on event day

to ensure smooth operations Conduct

final checks

for venue and event readiness Act as point of contact for

client liaison and guest relations

Step in as

emergency barman

when needed Handle

bar setup and stock

for Dry & Decor events Open and close the venue (when required) Cover the

manager

during sickness or holidays Assist with

venue viewings

and potential client walk-ins Support with

event bookings

, basic contracts, and staffing lists Maintain and report on

venue operations and issues

Ensure all

health & safety protocols

are followed

Key Skills & Experience

Prior experience in

event supervision

or hospitality operations Excellent

organisational and time management

skills Confident communicator with strong

customer service focus

Able to handle pressure and problem-solve quickly Good leadership and

team coordination

skills Basic understanding of

venue logistics and event flow

Proactive, hands-on, and flexible with shifts (evenings/weekends)
