The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) is a charity and the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in the UK and Ireland. We are a membership body with over 23,000 members and as a professional organisation we promote, improve and uphold standards of CBT practice, supervision and training.
As we also offer CPD provision with, and for, our members, we are therefore recruiting for an Events Administrator on a temporary basis to support the delivery of CPD and event activities.
The role is temporary for a duration of 6-months.
The role sits within the Membership Services Team to facilitate the delivery of online CPD events and to ensure these meet the needs of our members. This will be achieved through providing administrative support for all aspects of our CPD events i.e., setting up bookings, managing invite lists, supporting delegates to register and responding to queries.
Other key duties of the role are to; receive and review proposals for events, provide follow up correspondence, check information ready for review by other colleagues, collate feedback from events and surveys to present for review and liaise with venues and speakers about the delivery of events to ensure their smooth running.
To be considered for the role, you must have previous experience within a similar administration role and previous experience of successfully administering and delivering events (online & face to face).
Excellent organisational and communication skills are also a must, alongside excellent Microsoft Office software knowledge as well as online meeting and webinars applications.
