Reporting to the Marketing Manager Education and Examinations, the Events Administrator will support the delivery of our events, outreach and membership engagement programme.



You will be organised and methodical. You will work closely with the wider MarComms team and other colleagues and volunteers, to deliver successful and engaging events. You will support the management of our conferences and events, and our presence in industry conferences or outreach activities.



You will support with project management of attendance at shows and events with stand builds, merchandise ordering and staffing of the events. You will ensure that we project our brand and tell our story well at all events. You will consider how best to collect and manage data from attendees and how to register guests at events. You will be familiar with typical event management software. You will be confident to make sure that every detail has been considered to contribute to the successful running of any event.



You will provide administrative and practical support for outreach events and will liaise with our ambassadors, influencers, surgical and dental societies and affiliated groups. With direction and support from your manager, you will ensure that influencers are kept informed and engaged with the college and nurtured to be champions for our calls to action. For all our key stakeholders, you will assist the team to ensure they are receiving timely, useful and motivating communications and toolkits of resources to support them in promoting the College and our services.



You will ensure that your areas of responsibility comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection, GDPR, copyright, and intellectual property.

This is a superb opportunity for an individual who is confident, methodical, organised and conscientious.



Ideally you will be a graduate of a degree in marketing, communications or event management. You will have strong event management and project management skills.



You will have excellent communication and team working skills. You will be a proficient user of the MS Office suite and have the ability to prioritise your workload with minimum supervision. A high level of professionalism and diplomacy is required for the role as is a willingness to take on new challenges and be receptive to change.
