As leaders in the social care events arena, we deliver a wide range of events to the social care sector with the aim of celebrating fantastic care and support and paying tribute to the workforce.

The Role
As Events and Communications Executive, you will play a pivotal role planning, delivering and reporting on key events throughout the year. These will range from smaller networking events, online judging days and large scale events for between 500 and 1,200 + guests.
The role will involve liaising and negotiating with a range of stakeholders including coordinating with venue staff, entertainment artists and production teams.
You will be required to attend and represent the brand at external partner events such as trade shows and networking events and co-ordinate sponsorship.
Your role will also involve supporting communications and marketing in enhancing the magazine's presence and engagement. This includes assisting with content creation, managing social media accounts, and ensuring all communications are effective and up-to-date.
This role is home based but you will be expected to attend meetings, conferences, networking activities and of course our own events!
The role will require occasional evening and/or weekend support.
This exciting and varied role would be ideal for a high calibre graduate with an interest and some experience in events, marketing and communications, who is looking to fast track their skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver a variety of events, from small-scale networking events to large-scale celebrations.
Liaise with stakeholders, including venue staff and production teams, to ensure seamless event execution.
Represent Care Talk at external events and coordinate sponsorship opportunities.
Support communications and marketing with content creation, both on and offline, social media management, and other communication tasks.
Proofread event materials, magazine articles, and maintain up-to-date website content
What We're Looking For:
A high-calibre graduate with a 2:1 degree or above, with an interest and some experience in events, marketing, and communications.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in writing, editing, and attention to detail.
Experience with social media and Mailchimp is desirable but not essential.
Ability to work remotely while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
