Events And Community Manager

Job Description

Our client serves as both a respected professional membership organisation and a prestigious conference centre, event venue, and wedding destination located in the heart of London. They are currently in the process of recruiting an Events and Community Manager to join their events team on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a presence in Central London for 2-3 days per week.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for devising and implementing an events strategy designed to engage and support the global community. Moreover, you will take on the task of coordinating our client\'s flagship annual event, as well as smaller, niche-specific events like seminars and round table discussions. Additionally, you will oversee the growth and participation of our client\'s practitioners and stakeholders, nurturing a vibrant community across key global markets.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan, manage, and execute events and event strategies in close collaboration with the sales and marketing team to maximise attendance.
  • Establish meaningful connections with targeted external stakeholders by hosting customised events throughout the year.
  • Explore opportunities for collaborative event initiatives and partnerships with other organisations in the industry.
  • Cultivate relationships with subject matter experts, industry partners, suppliers, and advisors.
  • Organise and lead briefing sessions for internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on community events and activities.
  • Coordinate with the Operations and event delivery team to ensure the successful execution of events and activities within specified timelines and budgets.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess exceptional communication skills, enabling effective engagement with individuals at various levels within the organisation. They should also demonstrate strong time management abilities, a proactive approach to planning, and a high degree of creativity in problem-solving.

If you have a proven track record of successfully managing multiple events concurrently, a sharp eye for detail, and an enthusiasm for overseeing a diverse portfolio of events while nurturing a dynamic global community, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
