Scale 3 + 2 increments for weekend working (\xc2\xa322,369 - \xc2\xa322,777) *pay award pending

37 Hours, Full Time

Temporary, 2 years (with potential to extend)

Based at a variety of venues including Stockport Town Hall, Bramall Hall, Chadkirk Chapel

Your Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Assistant to join us to support the delivery of our ambitious events programme. You will be working as part of the Stockport Events Team at a variety of impressive Venues including Stockport Town Hall, Bramall Hall and Chadkirk Chapel.

You will be the first point of contact for our growing team, providing phone coverage and responding to enquiries. You will provide support to the Hospitality supervisors and event coordinators and assist with the operational delivery of events for up to 500 people. Responsibilities will include;

  • Bar/Food Service
  • Cleaning Duties
  • Event set up/clear down
  • Event stewarding
  • Answering the phones
  • Responding to enquiries
  • Making Reservations
  • First Aid provision
  • Event Delivery
  • Client Viewings
  • Reception cover
This position includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays and includes late finishes after the hours of midnight. Applicants must be over the age of 18.
