We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Caterer to join our team. Who needs to be multi skilled and very adaptable as will be working in a multitude of environments.

Bonus points if you can drive and tow small vehicles ( pay is more if you can)

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience in catering and guest interactions. This role involves preparing, serving, and presenting food at various events and venues, ensuring high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. The Caterer will play a vital role in delivering memorable dining experiences and maintaining the organisation's reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and client requirements Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner Set up catering venues, including arranging tables, chairs, tableware, and decorations as needed Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to during preparation, storage, and service Assist with food presentation to enhance visual appeal Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during events Manage guest requests promptly and efficiently to promote excellent guest services Restock supplies as required during service periods

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality, catering, cooking on open fires and coals and restaurant environments Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices Skilled in food preparation and presentation techniques Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced settings Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Experience with culinary techniques is desirable but not essential Familiarity with guest services principles to ensure customer satisfaction Previous hotel or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory
