Job Description

About Hobbs Rehabilitation:

In 2005, Neurological Physiotherapists Helen Hobbs and Nicky Ellis set up Hobbs Rehabilitation and since then it has expanded rapidly to operate from 10 locations across the south of England. Hobbs Rehabilitation provides specialist inpatient and outpatient neurological rehabilitation for adults and children, treating a wide variety of conditions, including stroke, acquired brain injury and spinal cord injuries. An expert team of over 100 therapists, including OT, PT, SLT and Psychology, provide an interdisciplinary patient-centred neuro rehabilitation service, ensuring the individual is placed at the centre of care.

About The MiNT Academy:

We are passionate about pursuing the latest advances in research and technology to support our clients and staff to achieve their full potential, through involvement in research projects, delivery of education and development of services using advanced technology. The MiNT (Masterclass in Neurotechnology) Academy has been developed to bridge the gap between patients, clinicians and industry. MiNT works with engineers and academics to develop and research both new and existing technologies, increasing clinical effectiveness. MiNT also delivers online and practical education to students and clinicians and participates in a number of national and international events and conferences, including those run by MiNT itself.

The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic, friendly team player to join us in a newly created role following the growth of The MiNT Academy. Based at the Bristol Intensive Neurotherapy Centre, with travel to other Hobbs Rehabilitation locations across the South of England as necessary, you will take ownership of daily events coordination, including the planning and organisation of national and international events, research trials, and liaison with external companies and clinical partners.

You will support clinicians in delivering educational courses both internally and in partnership with external venues and providers. While primarily focused on The MiNT Academy, this role involves close collaboration with the Hobbs Rehabilitation Marketing Team.

The successful candidate will receive ongoing support from the Hobbs team and contribute to broader marketing activities across the organisation. Key responsibilities include promoting The MiNT Academy through digital channels such as the website and social media, managing CRM and patient databases, handling email correspondence, and coordinating travel and accommodation bookings as required.

As part of your application, we would appreciate a brief overview of any relevant events or marketing experience. This could include examples of campaigns you have contributed to, or a short summary of events you have helped organise. Please outline the type of event, your role, and any key outcomes. You are also welcome to include samples of materials such as social media posts, promotional content, or event schedules, if available.
