Job Title: Marketing Co-ordinator

Purpose of the Role
To support the strategic development and operational delivery of the school's marketing and communications activities. The Marketing Co-ordinator will help raise the profile of the school, promote pupil recruitment and retention and enhance engagement with current and prospective families, alumni and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing and Communications
? Develop and implement engaging content for the school's website, social media
channels, newsletters and press releases.
? Manage and update the school website to ensure it reflects the school's ethos and
activities.
? Plan and schedule regular social media posts, showcasing school events,
achievements and daily life.
? Draft marketing materials (e.g. prospectuses, flyers, advertisements) in line with the
school's branding for our designers to create.
? Support the organisation and promotion of key events such as Open Events, school
performances and fundraising initiatives.
? Build relationships with local media and community partners to secure positive
publicity.
? Lead the development of an annual marketing plan that includes advertising, public
relations, digital marketing, events, and community outreach.
? Create monthly marketing reports. Branding and Promotion
? Ensure consistency of the school's brand and messaging across all platforms and
publications.
? Monitor and evaluate marketing campaigns, suggesting improvements and new
ideas.
? Source and manage promotional merchandise and display materials.
? Promote events, camps, extracurricular activities, international programs.
Admin Support
? Collaborate with the Admissions team to produce materials and campaigns aimed at
prospective families.
? Assist in preparing for open events and tours, ensuring high-quality presentation and visitor experience.
? Along with the admin team, support the main office during secretarial absence.
Photography and Media
? Take and edit photos/videos of school life, events and student achievements for
promotional use.
? Maintain a well-organised photo and video archive for marketing purposes.
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications and Experience
? Proven experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably within the
education sector.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
? Experience with content creation, social media management and digital marketing
tools such as Google and Meta ads.
? Competence in using graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe InDesign, or similar).
Desirable Skills and Experience
? Experience working in a school or educational environment.
? Knowledge of the independent school sector and understanding of its values and
challenges.
? Photography and/or video editing skills.
? Knowledge of GDPR and safeguarding principles in relation to marketing and communications.
Personal Qualities
? Proactive, creative and able to work independently.
? Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
? Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
? Professional and friendly manner; confident engaging with staff, parents and pupils.

Additional Information
? The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
? Training in safeguarding and child protection will be provided.
? Flexibility in working hours may occasionally be required to support key events
outside normal hours.

Pay: 9,750.00-11,250.00 per year
