We are seeking a proactive and well-organised

Events Sales Administrator

to support the delivery and growth of one of our College's events business. This role involves coordinating bookings, supporting event logistics, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with the development of new business opportunities.


The position is set to commence ASAP and will be part-time (30 hours per week, worked over 4 days 9am-5pm) for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of 15.00 per hour + holiday pay


Key Duties:



Assist with conference room bookings and associated arrangements, including AV, catering, and setup Support the generation of new events business under the guidance of the Manager Liaise with College departments to ensure smooth event delivery and support service improvements Provide high-quality customer service to guests and hosts, including managing escalating complaints Prepare event quotes, contracts, and invoices Help uphold and model strong service standards across the events function Manage routine correspondence and respond to office enquiries Work with other College departments to organise internal staff events, including the annual staff Christmas party Handle confidential information responsibly and ensure secure management of sensitive documents Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and in-house procedures such as HR, health and safety, and licensing requirements

Selection Criteria:



Experience in event administration, scheduling, bookings, or basic event coordination Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proven customer service skills with a friendly, professional approach Clear written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational and time-management abilities Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to support College events and activities Understanding of confidentiality requirements and information-security procedures
