As the Executive Assistant to our Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will ensure that they are appropriately supported and that their time is managed meaningfully. This means being enterprising and managing a wide range of duties that can include coordinating regular meetings with the Management team, board, partners, customers, financial advisors and investors.

One of your main responsibilities will be managing the inbox and travel requirements. You will also be expected to excel at anticipating upcoming needs and managing them accordingly.

We are looking for someone who operates with a service-oriented mindset, being able to adapt to a wide range of personalities, working styles, and challenges is a must.

Working in a fast-paced, agile environment which can be demanding and challenging should come naturally. As will having the experience in supporting executive leadership and ensuring the smooth workflow and daily rhythm of the CFO.

This role will operate within a hybrid working environment requiring regular attendance at the SUSE HQ in Staines-upon-Thames.

Focus areas

Diary and email management

Travel & expense management

Provide administrative and operational support to CFO.

Support the CFO with preparation for and involvement at both internal & external meetings and discussions.

Help build and plan off-sites and support logistics where required.

Provide support for special projects and initiatives as is necessary.

Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence.

Attend meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.

Liaise closely with the EAs of the other members of the leadership team.

Provide ad-hoc assistance and support to members of the CFO team.

Preferred Experience & Skills

A relevant qualification in Business Management would be preferred.

Extensive experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably to a C-Suite member.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with travel and expense management software.

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Ability to multitask and manage task prioritisation to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Flexibility and a can-do attitude.

Personable and willing to support others in the extended EA team
