About the job Executive HR, Accounts & Administration

Job Role Overview:



A well-rounded professional who can handle a mix of HR, accounting, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable, and confident managing both people and numbers. Youll help ensure our daily operations run smoothly, our financial records are accurate, and our team is supported through strong HR practices.

Key Responsibilities:



Human Resources



Manage recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes. Keep staff files, contracts, and records updated and compliant with Kenyan labour laws. Process payroll and handle statutory deductions (NSSF, NHIF, PAYE). Support performance reviews, training, and staff engagement. Advise management on HR policies, employee relations, and compliance matters.

Accounts & Finance



Handle daily bookkeeping and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly financial reports and support audits. Manage payments, petty cash, and supplier invoices. Help prepare budgets and monitor expenses. Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and banks when needed.

Administration



Oversee office operations, supplies, and maintenance. Coordinate company events, meetings, and travel logistics. Manage procurement and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Supervise support staff (drivers, cleaners, messengers).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):



HR



All statutory and legal requirements met on time. Recruitment completed within 30 days of approval. High employee satisfaction and low turnover.

Accounts



Accurate monthly reports submitted by the 5th of every month. Payroll processed correctly and on time. Spending kept within approved budgets.

Administration



Smooth day-to-day office operations. Procurement done efficiently with at least 5% cost savings. Timely coordination of logistics and office support.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Human Resource Management. 4-5 years of experience in HR, accounting, and administration ideally in a mid-sized company. Professional qualifications like CPA II/III, CHRP, or CIPD are an added advantage. Strong understanding of Kenyan labour laws and tax compliance. Good command of MS Office, QuickBooks, or similar software.
