We are seeking an experienced and dynamic executive Sous Chef to join our professional culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen management, you will oversee daily operations, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and support the head chef in creating innovative menus. Responsibilities



Assist the exe utive chef in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards across 3 restaurants on the Norfolk broads. Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during all shifts Oversee food production, ensuring consistency, presentation, and adherence to food safety regulations Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste to optimise kitchen operations Support team management by training new staff and providing ongoing coaching to develop skills Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations Contribute to menu development by suggesting innovative ideas and seasonal specials Ensure all food served meets quality standards before it reaches guests Assist in serving customers when necessary, providing excellent hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment Extensive food preparation, cooking, and culinary experience in hospitality or restaurant settings Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working atmosphere Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards Experience in food production, restaurant operations, and service procedures Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure during peak hours while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
